About the Office

It is our commitment to make your college education as affordable as we possibly can. No one should be denied an education solely because of financial circumstances. We will make every effort to assist the student to realize his or her educational goals and objectives within the framework of the University's available resources or those of other agencies and organizations which we are able to identify.

Financial Aid Program Policy

Case Western Reserve University assumes the family and the student will make a reasonable contribution from their income and assets toward the cost of the student’s education. In turn, the University will exert every effort to assist the family. The financial aid program is based on the concept of financial need. Financial need is defined as the difference between the family contribution and the cost of attendance: tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, transportation, and incidentals.

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy

Case Western Reserve University admits students of any race, religion, age, sex, color, disability, sexual orientation, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights and privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the University.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, sex, color, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, or national or ethnic origin in administering its educational policies, admission policies, employment, promotion and compensation policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other University-administered programs.
